It addresses the topics of: Human Comfort, The Air Cycle, Refrigeration Cycle, The Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Equipment. This training is self-paced and contains skills checks at the end of each section, allowing students to evaluate their understanding of the concepts presented. This course includes 2 modules, and each module includes a final assessment.

- Select by name and function the components of the mechanical refrigeration cycle
- Correctly match air conditioning terms used for capacity and efficiency
- Identify the difference between a heat pump system and an air conditioning system
- Select equipment types used in residential systems
- Select equipment types and applications of commercial systems.
