Carrier Building Controls Support the Sustainable Operations of Zhongqing Photovoltaic Park

Carrier China recently provided HVAC equipment and the to the chiller plant for phase of Zhongqing Photovoltaic Industrial Park. The installations support the sustainability goals of the new 400-square-meter development located in Jiangsu Province. With the combination of Carrier AquaEdge® 19XR centrifugal chillers, WebCTRL, , facility management and control system (FMCS) software, high-precision sensors and smart valves, the solution will deliver stable and reliable operations for the chiller plant to reach an annual average system coefficient of performance of over 5.0 (w/w). Sustainable and energy efficient operations are important for the industrial park that will produce large-scale photovoltaic cells, modules and other relevant materials used in the technology that converts solar energy into electricity.

WebCTRL provides streamlined, point-and-click graphical access with powerful tools to help facility managers of the solar photovoltaic technology production center keep occupants comfortable, manage energy conservation measures, identify key operational problems and analyze the results. The controls solution will extend the life cycle of the equipment, improve efficiency and reduce operating costs by optimizing the operation of chiller plant and HVAC subsystems.
