Carrier China Delivers High-Efficient HVAC Solution for EVE Energy’s Chiller Plants

To help EVE Energy meet China’s dual carbon goals, Carrier China today announced it has provided 34 chillers to eight high-efficiency chiller plants in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, and Jingzhou, Hubei Province, with the total cooling capacity of ~60,000 refrigeration tons. As one of the leading battery manufacturers, EVE Energy actively promotes sustainable development, especially in its factories with strict requirements on the energy consumption of its high-efficiency chiller plants. Carrier delivered a high-efficient HVAC solution that includes three different water-cooled chiller models.
With the combination of the AquaEdge® 19XRV, AquaEdge19XR and AquaForce® 30XWV, the annual average Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) of the chiller plant can reach over 5.0 (w/w). In addition, the 19XR centrifugal chillers leverages two-stage compression technology, which has a wide range of operation and more stable and reliable water storage operation. It has the ability to reduce demand at peak times to reduce carbon intensity of the local grid while greatly reducing daily operating costs.
