Carrier Supports Singapore Green Plan with Tree Planting Program

Carrier has taken another step in championing sustainability with its tree planting initiative. Carrier is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.
The company plants one tree for every award-winning and energy-efficient Carrier AquaEdge® 19DV water-cooled centrifugal chiller sold in Singapore. Carrier created the One DV, One Tree initiative in collaboration with the National Parks Board's OneMillionTrees movement, restoring nature in the city under the Singapore Green Plan 2030. AquaEdge19DV customers are invited to plant a tree during a group event.

The 19DV initiative complements Carrier’s 2030 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Goals, including helping customers avoid more than 1 gigaton of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Each AquaEdge 19DV chiller installed in Singapore provides 1,213 metric tonnes of CO2e savings over its lifetime.
The AquaEdge 19DV launched in Asia in 2016 and is widely recognized for its outstanding performance and excellent energy efficiency. The chiller features EquiDriveTM two-stage back-to-back compression technology, low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant and the innovative free cooling option, which can all reduce maintenance costs and mechanical room space.
