Carrier UK Hosts Customer Conference at Red Bull Racing
LONDON, ENGLAND -
Carrier recently welcomed key UK commercial HVAC customers to Red Bull Racing's global headquarters in Milton Keynes for its 2022 Customer Conference. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent buildings and cold chain solutions.
This year's event provided an immersive Formula 1™ experience and gave customers the opportunity to learn more about Carrier's innovative solutions, the company's plan to help customers become carbon neutral, and how it is investing in different segments, including data centres, commercial heating and healthy buildings across the UK and Europe.
Carrier's heat pumps, along with CIAT's advanced handling units, were showcased at the Red Bull factory and gave customers insight into how these solutions will help support decarbonisation in the UK.
Carrier AquaSnap® 30RQ range of air source heat pumps will play a role in helping customers lower their carbon emissions. This highly-efficient heat pump operates on lower global warming potential (GWP) R-32 refrigerant, delivering a lower carbon footprint and reduced energy running costs.
Customers also learned about Carrier's AquaForce® 61XWH water-source heat pump on R-32 refrigerant. This unit is ideal for use in heat networks and can harness multiple renewable energy sources, such as waste heat from data centres and ground source water, to provide water temperatures of up to 85°C.
CIAT's ClimaCIAT® range of air handling units are designed to meet a wide range of applications with industry leading build classifications. It enhances indoor air quality for buildings in any sectors, including commercial, industrial and healthcare, while operating efficiently.
During the event, Didier Genois, Vice President and General Manager, Carrier Commercial HVAC Europe, gave more details about Carrier's 2030 Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Goals of reducing customers' carbon footprint by more than 1 gigaton.
"Decarbonisation should not wait for the future," said Genois. "It needs to happen now. We strive to be a catalyst for positive and sustainable solutions and fully support incentives across the UK and Europe for renewable and energy-efficient alternatives."
Bertrand Rotagnon, Northern Europe Sales Director, Commercial HVAC, Carrier outlined Carrier's plans to invest in segments across Europe, including data centres. He explained that Carrier was well positioned to support customers in this rapidly developing segment by ensuring they have solutions for complete data centre optimisation while reducing both energy consumption and carbon footprint.
