Carrier's AquaEdge® 19MV Chiller Recognized as Product of the Year by Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine

The Carrier AquaEdge® 19MV centrifugal chiller has been recognized as one of the best new products of 2023 by Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine. The AquaEdge 19MV received the gold award in the HVAC category for the publication’s Product of the Year program. The globally manufactured AquaEdge 19MV leverages proven EquiDrive™ two-stage back-to-back compressor technology, now with magnetic bearings, to achieve best-in-segment performance while staying quiet and cool under pressure. This revolutionary EquiDrive compression and drive train technology provides expanded operating range while improving chiller energy efficiency and building resiliency for specifying engineers, building owners and facility managers.

The chiller’s compact footprint allows it to fit through double doors (72 by 80 inches) without disassembly for easy installation. It has a capacity from 300 to 700 tons (1,055kW – 2,461kW) and the ability to take full advantage of cold condenser water, chilled water reset and other energy-saving practices to further improve building performance.

It is available in low global warming potential (GWP) R-515B, R-513A and R-134A refrigerant options.
