Carrier Announces Availability of Certified Controls Expert Contractors
CHICAGO -
In its first year, the Carrier Controls Expert Program has created a network of more than 200 highly skilled contractors who are certified to install, maintain and service Carrier’s native-BACnet® i-Vu® building automation system. Carrier, the world’s leader in high-technology heating, ventilating and air-conditioning solutions, is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
Carrier customers looking for qualified contractors can visit the office locator page on Carrier.com to find skilled, certified technicians. The Carrier Controls Expert Program includes three tiers of certification: Comfort System (CS), i-Vu System (IS), and Encompass System (ES). Each tier pertains to a specific set of Carrier controls products and training modules. To become certified in a tier, contractors must employ technicians who have taken courses and passed exams for all of the products within that tier.
“At Carrier, we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible solutions and being a trusted partner to our customers,” said Greg Alcorn, vice president, commercial sales and marketing, Carrier. “Our controls expert certification program provides the highest level of consistency and quality to our customers’ experiences.”
