The 50XJ indoor deluxe water-cooled packaged units are designed for vertical installation with vertical air discharge or horizontal with optional acoustical plenum and open or ducted rear air return. These units provide a flexible and versatile approach to comfort conditioning requirements in today’s renovation and new construction applications.

- Multiple compressor selections for each fan size
- Variety of drive and motor options for low and medium static pressure applications
- Fully intertwined, full-face active evaporator coils; 6-row, 12-fin per inch copper-tube coils with aluminum-plate fins
- VFD with duct static pressure sensor sized to handle full motor operating current at full load operation
- 3-phase evaporator-fan motor compatible with use on VFD with thermal overload protection
- Acoustically lined compressor compartment
Reliability Features
- Four independent circuits with scroll compressors on vibration mounts
- Adjustable TXV refrigerant metering device
- Heavy gage structural frame with base rail and lifting lugs
- Compressors equipped with mechanically cleanable shell and tube condenser rated for 150 psig water-side working pressure
- One double-inlet forward-curved fan, statically and dynamically balanced, mounted on a fully spring isolated mounting frame with 2-in. deflection spring isolators and flexible fan discharge collar
- L-50 life bearings at 200,000 hours with grease connection
- Full, double-wall construction evaporator section
- Unit mounted controller capable of stand-alone operation or integration into a building automation system via on board BACnet, Modbus, N2 or optional LonWorks communication protocols
- Accessory user interface provides easy access to make unit set point changes or diagnostics
- Baked, enamel-painted cabinet meets 500-hour salt spray requirements
- High and low pressure switches and frost protection on circuits
- Filter drier, moisture indicator/sight glass, and adjustable TXV on each circuit mounted outside the airsteam
- Stainless steel, sloped condensate pan with internal trap
- High discharge static pressure control
- Listed with ETL, UL, and UL, Canada and rated in accordance with IAW ARI 340/360
