Carrier Transicold’s Series 24 PowerLINE generator sets are equipped with:
- New 2-speed Kubota 2.4 Liter Engine compliant with EPA regulations for engines less than 15 HP (19KW) and CARB’s 2022 amendments to the Airborne Toxic Control Measure for Transport Refrigeration units (TRU) and TRU Gensets.
- New Common-rail fuel injection that reduces Particulate matter emissions and lowers fuel consumption
- New Maintenance-Free Diesel Oxidation catalyst that reduced hydrocarbon and other emissions
- New enhanced Filtration that supports common-rail injection
- Ultra High efficiency permanent magnet generator platform to deliver performance needed by reefers
- FuelWise™ two-speed functionality built in, for up to 34% fuel savings versus previous standard units without FuelWise.
- Black box controller determines when to automatically switch speeds, while delivering requisite power and voltage for refrigeration unit operation.

- Ultra-high-efficiency generator enables full power for ISO reefers
- FuelWise™ two-speed functionality for up to 34% fuel savings relative to prior models without FuelWise
Introduces a lower emission engine that allows use in California indefinitely*
- No limitations on CARB life and no aftertreatment or emissions upgrades required for extension
- Engine’s common-rail fuel injection is supported by an enhanced fuel filtration system and diesel oxidation catalyst
- Combined, these clean engine technologies push particulate, hydrocarbon and NOx emissions to new lows, helping customers achieve their sustainability goals
- The engine does not require complex exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) to achieve emissions targets
