The close of installation was very frustrating. When first turning on the unit the outside condenser unite would not work no fan in other words. After some time they figured out the outside installer wired it wrong. Then it ran a good 30 minutes but would not cool proper. They figured out it was low on coolant. So well over an hour after first starting the test and getting dark. It started to cool then ran for hours till midnight before it cooled the house down to 78 degrees. Any way a very frustrating and worrisome end of installation? Unit went on the following couple of days running more than it rested? It still runs as much as it is off. The old unit ran less i hope all is well? Waiting to see my next electric bill if it is less as guaranteed?

Overall, I have been pleased with Atchley Air, but the installed Carrier HVAC has been disappointing. It seems to struggle to keep our house cool during our recent hot days. The fan speed was originally set too fast, so it was loud and blew lots of air, but the air wasn't very cool. After a technician came out and adjusted the fan speed and thermostat, the system is quieter and the air is colder, but still struggles to cool sufficiently during the hottest part of the day. (Our old York system seemed to cool better) Maybe I just expected too much from this new system and maybe it's just that it's extra hot outside, but I'm just trying to present an honest review as requested.
