I have had issues ever since my new Carrier system was installed. Plumbline has been out to my house numerous times and still has not fixed the issue. My AC freezes and can not keep my house at a set temperature. I constantly get excuses from plumbline as to why this happens, when my old (Carrier) system that they replaced never had these issues. On the most recent repair attempt Plumbline installed a device that I explicitly told them not to, that prevents freezing but does so by turning off the condenser whenever needed. This has led to my house not cooling off, which is exactly why I told them I didn't want it installed. It is appalling that they would do this behind my back. They should absolutely not be recommended by Carrier.

The only reason I did not rate this dealer 5 stars is: When installing the drain line, they sent the drain ling all the way back outside when the drain was less than three feet away. Also, when installing the new thermostat, it was not placed over the drywall where the other one was originally which caused a no paint issue to show right on the wall. Aesthetically it was unacceptable. I, the homeowner, had to locate the matching paint which took three days and over $100. Also, when drilling a hole in my foundation wall, instead of using a smaller concreate bit to drill outwards and then after seeing where the hole was and drilling with the circle bit going inwards, the crew just drilled outward with the circle bit and a portion of my exterior concrete wall broke off. Had a great experience working working with Plumbline Services to install our new Carrier Heating and Air Conditioning System.
We had issues with our 20 year old heater in our house and a Plumbline technician, Cory, repaired the furnace and it worked just fine. There was no way to know how much longer the old system would last, so, we asked Cory about a new HVAC system. Cory took our information back to the office and had a gentleman, Gilles, contact us to discuss a new system. Within a couple of days Gilles came and measured our existing system and had a proposal. We were impressed as he did not try to sell us the most expensive system in the Carrier line, he actually took the time to work with us for the best solution for our home. The proposal included all the discounts we were entitled to, as well as checking rebates and othe credits. Gilles also subtracted the previous repair on the old system from the price of the new system. Gilles was always the gentleman and took his time to make sure we understood everything. Our next experience was the actual installation of the new system about a week later. A master technician, Jay, was the lead on the project. He did an excellent job on the installation, as did his two apprentices, Mike and Joey. They were fast and efficient and completed the job in one day. At the end of the day, Jay took the time to to walk us through the settings on the new thermostat with instructions on when we should contact Plumbline with any issue that might arise. A few days later we called based on the information Jay gave us and another technician already in the area, Mark, came to our house and made a few minor adjustments and walked us through what he did. Our outer rooms have always been cold spots in the house. Now the heating is even throughout the house and we couldn't be more pleased with the service and the new system. The installation crew left the room with the heater closet in it much cleaner than when they started. We highly recommend Plumbline.

I had a Carrier Infinity System Control (thermostat) installed with a new furnace and A/C, and neither the installer, nor tech support from the installers, nor tech support from Carrier, has been able it get it to work properly. The installer came out and replaced the control with another of the same model, but the same problem presented. The Carrier online registration process tells me that "A system with that serial number has not yet connected to MyInfinity." No one can figure this out. The controller shows that it is connected to my home router, and that the router is connected to the Carrier server, but it obviously is not connected, and no one can figure out why. I called Carrier tech support, was on hold for an hour and a half, and they told me to turn it off and turn it back on again. When that didn't work, Carrier said there must be some problem with my (less than a year old) router. Nonsense; everything else in my house works off that router just fine. But to be helpful (?), Carrier sent me two pages of instructions with questions to ask my internet service provider so that they (the ISP) could fix the problem. The controller works fine otherwise; it keeps the house comfortable. But the WiFi connectivity thing thing doesn't work, and nobody seems to know why.

The mobile app displays the same. 4 out of 5 Stars Plumbline Services was great during the sales part, making sure we were getting the correct equipment for our townhome. Installation was scheduled sooner than we expected, which was great that we didn?t have to wait a week or two, but only a day. The Techs were great, professional and personable, being respectful of our home. The only negative thing we have to say about Plumbline is that after the installation was complete, we didn?t hear a word from them to check to see if we were satisfied or had any questions/concerns about the system. Well, actually, we did receive a call from them a week later to schedule our annual system service for the old system. You?d think that after spending so much money there?d be some sort of follow up.
