Poor install and service
2.5 months after install, our air handler float switch triggered a shut down due to water backing up in the drain line. Tech came out to determine the cause of the shut down, emptied float sensor compartment, but did not clear the clog. After contact with the float switch it failed to work while the machine overflowed drainage into the walls for about a week. We learnednof this when our bedroom flooded, causing damage to walls, insulation, carpeting and ducting, and causing mold growth in the walls. They drained and replaced the ducting but refused a mild issue and refused to replace damaged/contaminated carpeting, insulation and wallboard. We performed mold testing and confirmed bacterial growth. RJ Kielty till refused to take responsibility and the manager refused to take my calls and respond to my emails until I got a lawyer involved. They have since refused to respond to my lawyer and we are now in litigation. Expert analysis of the install discovered many incorrect details. A few months later when we turned the heat on, the machine shorted out and caught fire for a moment as the machine tripped it's breakers and shut down. We needed to replace the machine with a working, more appropriate sized(they sold us a machine too big for our existing ducting system) machine. We have now paid for 2 systems and had to replace our entire ducting system to feed the machine properly. We have also paid an extensive amount of money to perform mold testing, remediate mold, and repair damage.
