Main Street Heating \& Cooling was professional. They came out quickly when our A/C unit died. We got three bids and they were competitive, but what we really noticed was their attention to detail. They realized that we didn't have enough returns in the basement. The other two companies didn't address that issue. They weren't able to install our units right away, but they brought out some heavy duty window units that got us through during the heat wave.

Terrible experience
They talk a good game, but do not deliver on the service. The only positive experience from them was from the installers, everyone else we have dealt with has been a bust. Starting from the significant delay for the install, missed appointments, not returning calls, no follow up about how things are going with the equipment (not well) and finally being brushed off by them. We should have kept our swamp cooler because the only thing our AC unit has done is make an already cool downstairs cooler while the upstairs is still hot. We expected some issues because of the age of the house, but were assured there should be minimal issues with cooling the upstairs and that has not been the case. Waited 2 weeks for a follow up appointment, which was missed and then to have them tell us when they did show up that it more than likely our circulation fan on the furnace was not good enough. We were told they would get back to us and it has been a week now. I would not recommend this company.
