Carrier Australia has successfully installed a condenser water system upgrade inclusive of towers, pumps, HEX, pipework headers and a custom safety access system within the stipulated timeline of 7 weeks. The new plant had an aggregate weight of 40 tons. The new system was designed to serve the main cooling plant at Sunshine hospital in Melbourne, ensuring the best heat rejection possible for all ambient conditions. This major upgrade was made possible by Carrier Australia's Advantech and the Rental team.
Carrier rental systems engineered a customized site solution installing 1 MW of air-cooled rental chillers to enable the hospital to operate without interruption.
