The individual plans that make up Carrier’s benefits are designed to balance immediate needs, such as healthcare, with longer-term focus such as planning for retirement.
What we offer
The Carrier Retirement Savings Plan is designed to be flexible regardless of an employee’s investment know-how and/or risk tolerance.
In addition to the broad range of investment options available in the plan, we offer an innovative feature called the Lifetime Income Strategy. This gives you the opportunity to turn all, or a portion, of your savings plan account balance into a reliable source of income for after you retire.
We offer medical and dental plans that provide for a variety of healthcare needs.
Employees are also eligible to participate in tax-advantage accounts such as our Health Savings Account, Health Care Spending Account and Dependent Care Spending Account. These tax-advantaged benefits allow you to pay eligible expenses with pretax dollars.
Additionally, we offer life insurance options for you and your family, vision insurance and long-term disability coverage.
Employee fitness centers are also available at certain locations.
New employees will receive market competitive time off. Carrier employees are encouraged to take advantage of their vacation time to relax and rejuvenate.
In some locations, in addition to paid vacation days, we offer employees the opportunity to purchase up to five extra days of vacation through our Carrier Choice program. Purchased vacation costs are spread out over the year, making it more affordable to add that extra time.

With the demands of work and family, many find that maintaining the standard “8 a.m. to 5 p.m.” workday is increasingly difficult to manage. We understand that personal matters sometimes require you to alter your schedule.
Employees seeking additional flexibility options can request consideration through Carrier’s Alternative Work Arrangement Policy. This policy, which is also aligned with Carrier’s key tenets of flexibility, includes consideration of a number of factors, the completion of a request and submission to and approval by management.

Encourages employees to develop additional skills and engage in lifelong learning. The program covers tuition, academic fees and books at approved universities. The program offers tuition advancement and reimbursement options, providing employees with access to pursue associate- through master-level degrees and certificate programs relevant to Carrier’s business or functions. Tuition advancement offsets tuition costs, making it more feasible for employees to pursue additional degrees.
New parents — moms and dads — can relax knowing they can take time away from work to bond with new children while still providing for their families. Leave benefits cover birth, adoption and parental leave.
